Lingenfelter Performance Engineering’s Reaper pickup trucks are reaching the grubby mitts of their dealer network now and that means that customers are getting the beastly creations that they ordered and dealers are looking to promote the trucks that they have to sell. One dealer in Canada went the extra mile and created a pretty gnarly little short to introduce the trucks to their audience. Sherwood Park Chevrolet is located in Edmonton, Alberta Canada which is hardcore truck country. By hardcore we mean like Texas levels of allegiance and pride in their rigs as well as hardcore in the sense that the weather can get down right biblical up there during all the seasons so when guys have a truck that they love, it gets worked, driven, and used in the extremes….enter the Reaper.

As we have told you all along, Lingenfelter saw a hole in the Chevy truck lineup where the Ford Raptor was basically sitting uncontested in its segment. Looking to plug that opening the Lingenfelter crew worked with Souther Comfort trucks on the design of the rig, Ridetech for the suspension setup which offers longer travel and off road shocks among other things, and with Magnuson on a supercharger package to give it tire shredding horsepower for on and off road situations. After coming up with the concept and the package they took the mule trucks out to the desert and hammered them in ever aspect to make sure that they’d work and do what they needed to. After testing, the concept was unveiled to the world and production got ramped up. The fruits of that labor are now coming to the fore as the trucks have landed on Lingenfelter’s network of dealer lots and the sales are coming.

We think it is cool that this dealer has enough forward thinking people that they’d invest the time and money into a video like this rather than scrawling on the dealership window, “LOOK – WE HAVE REAPERS!” Fact is, the greater population is still learning about the truck so all the visual information that they can provide was right here.
