You know that moment right when things are starting go completely in the wrong direction? Everything just starts to slow down and you go into instinct mode. Well someone should have told these dudes that failure was inevitable long before the crazy went down. Seriously, the fact that this doesn’t go hundreds of times worse is a miracle.

In this video a Rolls Royce Viper Jet Engine is bolted to a test stand which is strapped to a wooden pallet which is sitting on the ground. Yes a forklift is present, and still has the forks inside the pallet, thank god. There are multiple times during this video that you think to yourself “Hmmmmm, that doesn’t seem quite right,” but the team doesn’t seem alarmed.

That quickly changes when the time to be alarmed comes on in a hurry. You’ll know when it’s all going bad because the engine just starts sounding really angry, in a good way and then it all gets scary. We’re not sure if the guy “driving” this thing has big brains or big balls, but either way he somehow saves the day.

Keep in mind, as freaky and dangerous as this is, we’re still loving the fact that the guys did it.
