“Do not use for anything other than intended purpose.” That ominous warning goes for a lot of items, but the fact that it exists is simply due to someone daring to find a secondary use. Sometimes awesome results can happen, but more often than not a trip to the emergency room is the end result. Luckily, the lad in this video doesn’t learn the hard way that physics can hurt. In the middle of the Arctic wasteland somewhere in Finland, an unsuspecting excavator was rigged with a bungee system and one guy volunteered to strap into a harness. He then lets his friend whip him around. The speeds that he accelerates to makes me think of those old NASA videos where they do gravity training. Now, that’s trust…and I promise you that if Lohnes tries this, Chad is getting into the harness, not me.
