The other day McTaggart thought he’s be cute and take pot shots at my suggestion that we use a beat up 1960 Lloyd van as the new BS mobile command center. He then made some generalized suggestions as to what types of vehicles we should look at for our theoretical country cruising machine and one of the categories that he neglected in a glaring fashion was the vintage bus genre. This 1938 Ford bus is so awesome that it trumps anything that his Chrysler J-Body loving self could ever construe. This bus has the looks, it has V8 performance, it has leather seating, and it even has a wood floor. The long shifter V8 engine, sweet gauges, and the fact that the all steel bus has survived nearly 80 years is incredible in and of itself.

Other than begging McTaggart to find something better than this, I am not sure what else to say. There’s a ton of photos and specs at the link as well as the sale price listing of $22,000.
