Greatest Go Kart Ever? This Mini-Freightliner Has A Box Trailer, 5hp, And The Ability To Make You The Hero Parent Of All Time if You Buy It (W/Video)

After about an hour of failed debate with my wife, I have determined that someone else will have to buy the coolest thing on eBay right now. This mini-Freightliner is powered by a 5hp engine, has a trailer and is big enough to seat an adult comfortably. The box trailer could haul 20 cases of beer and still have room for beef jerky, and if you were to buy this and give it to your kid you’d immediately be entered into some sort of gearhead parenting hall of fame. The asking price on the truck is $3,100. There’s video of it running and driving below along with still photos that show details which you cannot see in the video. Yes, it is a glorified go-kart but c’amon people, you have to admit that it is one of the neater things you have seen in a while. The photos and video you’ll see inside the cab seem to indicate some nice fiberglass work and a chassis that looks pretty well done, too.

We’re not sure if this is a one off or if there’s a place you can buy ’em but wow. I’d ditch the NASCAR inspired graphics and stuff on it for some other scheme. If I hit the lottery tomorrow it would go in for a total transformation into a miniature version of the Snoman’s rig from Smokey and the Bandit. Yes, I know that the rig from the movie was a Kenworth but lighten up Francis, it would still be a head turner and my neighbors would love to watch me drive it up and down the street at like 9mph.

Fully functioning 5hp go kart.
This mini semi has a fiberglass Freightliner body with chrome stacks.
The semi is 16′ total length (go kart is 8.5′ long), 30″ wide and the trailer is solid steel and 7′ long. It will fit through a standard door way.
Trailer is lined with carpet and has LED lighting.
Lettering on semi is vinyl and can be easily removed. 
It is powered by a 5hp Briggs & Stratton Fun Power gas engine.
The trailer unhooks with a standard trailer hitch pin.  It is sized for adults.

    Who remembers the yellow Shop-Rite trucks, along with such other goodies as the toy .50 cal machine gun, high above the produce area at most Shop-Rite grocery stores back in the late 60s-late 70s?
