It’s Not Everyday You See A Lifted, Four-Wheel Drive V8-Powered Honda Civic Burning The Tires Off…

Have you ever gone onto YouTube looking for one thing and winding up finding something 100% different from what you were originally going for? You initially were looking for a how-to instruction video for a project you can’t quite figure out and now you’re watching a cat video? Yeah…something like that happened, hence why you got to read that title. Earlier this morning, while barely conscious and pawing through my phone, I saw a quick clip of what looked and sounded like a twin-turbo V8-powered Honda Accord coupe leaving a parking lot. It was actually pretty badass and all day I was looking for the link to the video (surprise, I lost it). Instead I found this gem from a few years back: a Honda Civic body that was put onto a Chevrolet S-10 Blazer frame that had been shortened 11 inches, powered by a small-block Chevrolet and sitting on Monte Carlo-style “N90″ wheels on 31” tires. I don’t have words, for once…part of me wants to see how the frame was pieced together to know where to start looking first when this contraption comes unglued, while the other half of me wants to take this to Dennis Anderson’s off-road course and launch this thing with the V8 smacking the limiter. What do you think?

I drive by that place a couple times a year, and they always have a couple crazy builds out front

  2. Chevy Hatin' Mad Geordie

No matter how big the wheels are, how high the suspension is and how many burnouts it can do – a heap of shit is still a heap of shit!
