Mule City 300 Action Coverage: Crazy Mini-Rods, Unlimited Tractors, and More

(Photos by David Whealon) – Other than a day at the drag races, you are not going to see more mechanical diversity at a motorsports event than you are at a truck and tractor pull. Like drag racing, the goal is very simple but the way it is executed really can let the imagination run wild. From the two wheel drive trucks that have a wild rake and keep the front end hovering off the ground to the four wheel drive trucks that literally dig in and claw their way down the course, the modified farm tractors that are the foundation of the sport, and then the tiny little mini-rods that have a power to weight ratio unparalleled in the world of motorsport, and the unlimited tractors that need to explanation, you can find pretty much anything you want at the pulls.

David Whealon absolutely crushed the daylights out of the action photography at the Mule City 300 last weekend and this is a continuation of the coverage that you have seen going on throughout the week. This is the most diverse group of equipment that we have shown and if your trigger is not tripped by some of these photos you need to find a new thing to like.

Chained mechanical fury…literally!
