Take Our MONEY: This 1984 Cadillac-Camino Is Spectacular In Every Way – Even The Engine

So yeah, this is awesome. The combination of a Cadillac, an El Camino, a 1990s Impala SS, and good workmanship mean that this 1984 Cadillac-Camino is spectacular in every way. It would have been neat to see a 1984 Cadillac that was this clean and painted in this shade of red. It would have been neat to see an Elky this clean and painted this shade of red. It would have been neat to see a 1984 Cadillac with a dead nuts clean 1990s LT1 swapped into it but when you combine all of those elements you have a package that’ll stop ’em dead in their tracks on the streets or at a show. Sweet mother of mercy we want this thing badly. We got tipped off to it by BangShifter RockOn and he’s got the same taste as us.

To us, this car looks so good because it has the huge long nose that all of the Caddies had in 1984 and it gives good proportion to the “bed” in the rear. The engine swap choice is pretty interesting and as you will notice it still has the cop car spec green hoses on it running to the factory style radiator. With about 260-270hp stock and hooked to an overdrive transmission this thing should cruise down the road getting great mileage and have enough power to be fun as well. Headers and some tuning would wake the motor up and make for better burnouts, too.

Maybe we should not like this thing as much as we do but it is really well done and boy is it clean. Hate it? Your opinion is wrong.

Awesome, well executed cartruck, and a very intelligent build that was probably assembled from junk yard parts for next to nothing. Even at $10K it’s a deal, just as a pick-em-up!
C’mon Lohnes, put a BS sticker in the back glass and call it an advertising piece, for tax porpoises…

I’ve heard El Caminos called “cowboy Cadillacs” before, but this is the most awesomely literal take I have seen on that line.

Haven’t seen the ad but if has a 2800 stall TC and 3.73 gear, that Caddy will be REALLY fun to drive! I like!

Can’t help but wonder how many dead people took their last ride in the back of that. No thanks.

Well, it IS the Cadillac of El Caminos. So, there’s that. Seriously, it would be fun to drive around town and to car shows. I like Camaros, Stangs, Chargers, etc. but it’s also nice to have something no one else has. I don’t know if it’s worth 10 big ones but it looks nice in the pictures.
