Trucks! Here’s A Collection Of Sweet Rigs From The 2014 Orange County Great Labor Day Cruise

Yesterday we ran a gallery of hot rods and cool cars from the 2014 Orange County Great Labor Day Cruise. We have hundreds and hundreds of photos from the event and we’re busting them out with our favorite stuff. Today’s gallery is a focus on the trucks that were at the show. From restored rigs to pro street hammers like the one above, trucks were present in huge numbers at the 2014 Orange County Great Labor Day Cruise. As you would expect out of the weather in Orange County, California the day was beautiful and the turnout was huge.

Trucks were once on the outside fringes of the hot rodding and car hobby. Those days are long gone because trucks are part of every aspect of the hobby from the drag strip to the pro touring events and autocross scene, to the restoration guys, to pulling, off roading, and other activities. I’m the sworn truck guy around here and I really appreciate the people who take the time to preserve stock examples or restore them as such but I really love the modified rigs, especially those like the pro street rig and the various pro touring trucks that have come on strong due to aftermarket parts development.

This was a spectacular show and we’ll hammer you with more photos and more neat stuff tomorrow, including more cars. Today? Today is all trucks, baby!

Does it bother anyone else that Bangshift fills the top of every page of their galleries with useless information, and, then, we have to scroll down to see the entire photo? We are interested in viewing the pictures. Links to other galleries, the store, sponsors, etc. are not required, once we have entered a sideshow. Especially when they fill up space on a page that would be better utilised in reducing the steps required to view the next pic.
