Friday Moment Of Zen: Watching Blocks And Transmissions Get Shredded Is Weirdly Relaxing

The majority of people in the high performance aftermarket have been going like hell for months to get their new products reads for SEMA, get their show cars ready for SEMA, or prepare the launch of something spectacular at SEMA and these people needs a break. Not only do they need a break, they need a good old fashioned Zen moment where they can sit back, relax, and actually escape for a moment from the madness. Thankfully we have that right here in the form of the videos below that show engines and transmissions being mercilessly killed and crushed by some of the most frighteningly awesome units we have ever seen.

The concept here is simple, huge hydraulically powered teeth grab, rotate, and basically pull the victim into its jaws. Whether it be an engine block, an entire engine, or a whole transmission. The sights and sounds of this type of destruction are pretty impressive. The blocks and transmissions make different noises but nothing make a better crunch than a full engine which is tossed into one of these things and just brutalized. The after images of the crushed engine are cool because some of the pistons and rods are still intact, the crank is sheared off at the mains, and it can pretty much be taken away and meltdown down at that point.

Wait until you hear what it sounds like when the first machine has a literal face full of engine blocks. It is like listening to someone eat potato chips loudly. Seriously it is insane.
