Will This Chevy Sink Or Swim? It Tries A Little Bit Of Both At A Mudhole In Texas

It might not be one of the “mega trucks” we’ve featured, but make no mistake, the Chevrolet that’s about halfway to China in the picture is a beast. Brian Briggs, also known as “TheMudbogger79” is known for being fearless when it comes to sinking a truck up to it’s frame rails, regardless of the lift on it, and he’s got the driving skill to back it up. This is footage of his famous “Green Machine” Chevrolet from 2011 and…well, let’s be honest about it, it’s in deep. The Bogger-equipped truck did pretty well through most of the mud hole but right at the end there was just enough of a lip to make things difficult, and that’s when it went from fun and games to a serious situation. Does Brian manage to get the Chevrolet out of the mud? Does he cave in and get pulled out? Does the engine suck pond water and turn a bad situation ugly? Click play below to find out!

Even though he didn’t make it, I am impressed by how much liquid those tires were able to continue to move without slicking over by filling with mud.

Perfect day playing in the mud. I used to play in a mud pit near my house, my Blazer had 44″ tires on it and I thought it was the biggest around. One fine day I went out to ply in my mud pit and found out there was another truck out running terra turfs (48s or 52s)…. I got stuck and stuck hard…. and I’m still friends with the guy on terras (28 years later)
