I was initially planning on writing this item mocking Chad obsession with old motorhomes and then I actually pressed play on the video below and a little pee came out. With a hot rodded 440ci Chrysler big block, some big (33″? 35″?) tires, and a fearless driver we actually get to see this box on wheels power through slop that would swallow hearty pickup trucks. We also get to see and hear the driver goose the throttle and to say that this thing has a little power would be the understatement of the month. This RV is so capable and so good I’m thinking that it could be the most BangShifty vehicle ever built. To this point, nothing we have ever showed you has combined Chad motorhome love, my big truck love, and our mutual love of thrashing stuff in the hardest core way possible than this Winnebago. That pretty much means that both of us are mentally ill, but that’s not really breaking any new ground, is it?
Javier Padron made this video and put it on his YouTube channel. He filmed it at the Outlaws Muddfest in 2013. The event looks like a big deal with tons of people, trucks, and mud pits to play in. Initially you’ll see a walk around of the RV and then you will see it in action battling the mud. It looks all slow and lumbering until the driver stands on the gas a couple of times to power the thing through and to say that wheelspeed isn’t a problem would be stating it lightly. There’s lots of gear and lots of grunt at work here.
Sure it looks as stable as a home foundation made of Krispy Kreme donuts but who cares. It doesn’t turn over in this video so it is legit!
