108 Photos: Today's Pomona Swap MeetBy Freiburger Posted 12/07/08

Today's Pomona Swap Meet started out a little slowly at 5:00 a.m. under a heavy overcast, but traffic picked up throughout the day. Even so, it was a little down in size overall and for the first time in years I walked all the cars and all the parts rows and gathered 108 photos for you in the process. See 'em all here in our gallery.

Even with the economy slowing down it did not look like prices had dropped too much, though there were a few standout deals. It's only thanks to my lack of a paycheck that I didn't come home with a $1,000 Vista Cruiser.

I can see why you guys own so many cars. That green 77 Monte would have made three if I was there, I probably could
have ditched the lowrider wheels there too.

Man-oh-man.
One of these days I'm gonna pull a car trailer to Cali with a few grand in my pocked and drag a car back home.....
But which one?!

That explains it. I knew the six wasn't that much heavier.

Anyone else notice the Tow'd has a wheel in the air?

It's on a trailer hitch that picks up the front end.

The truck was orange.

My favorite is the '62 or so powder blue Ford unibody truck sitting on the ground.
