Crazy Video: People Bail Out of Car Skidding on IceBy Brian Lohnes Posted 01/22/10
Let's say you're driving a little weenie econo-box down an icy road. The car begins to slide on the ice. Given the options, do you attempt to regain control of the car and try, maybe fruitlessly, to steer yourself to safety, or do you make the truly idiotic decision to try and bail out of your rudderless breadbox? These dopes chose to exit stage left.
What's wrong with trying to climb out of an unpredictably moving car on ice? As you'll see, one of the rocket surgeons attempting to climb out is nearly dragged under the car as it makes its way down the ice-covered brick road.
The video appears to come from Europe as the woman sitting on the driver's side (later trailing the driver's side) has no steering gear in front of her. We have no idea what happened to the people, but because nothing was mentioned, we're going to assume that they were ok and maybe had some sense knocked into them.

Not the brightest. Sometimes you just have to know when you're just gonna have to go along for the ride. I did chuckle a bit though :P
(I ran into two different bushes last night trying to make a right hand turns on snow covered ice, I now know why buildings are lined with bushes :P Not one of my prouder moments)

I would have bumped the e-brake , pointed it in the right direction and got back on the go pedal, drift out of the corner looking like it was planned!
This guy locks the brakes up and bails out leaving his lady friend to so the same. . . bet ya he didn't get any action that night. ;D
