Talk about a sleeper! This video shows a nice looking Kenworth T800 dump truck hauling ass down the quarter mile at New England Dragway in Epping, NH during their yearly Truck Nationals event. Typically a truck like this would amble down the track in about 20 seconds. This truck has obviously been hot rodded…a lot!
We do not know what engine this truck has in it. Could be a Caterpillar, Cummins, or European PACCAR mill as well. You can see by the amount of soot being thrown out of the pipes that this sucker is moving some fuel! It sounds to us like the truck has an automatic transmission.
Whatever it has, the motor is way worked up and sounds great running down the strip. Getting all that weight down the 1320 in a tick over 15 seconds and well into the 90mph range is just awesome in our eyes.
The only thing better than fast? BIG and fast!
