The silent, soulless, motorized appliance known as the Toyota Prius is the complete antithesis of BangShifty. It is amazingly complicated, reduces the role of the driver to that of a mindless drone, and seems to indicate that the future is bleak for kids and cool cars.
Thankfully, we’re not the only ones that share this view. The people at FunnyorDie.com came up with a funny parody ad for a kid’s toy. In this case it is a slot car set that, instead of race cars, uses a small Prius to run around the track.
We think they hit the nail on the head with this one.
