Video Bonanza: U-Haul trucks Getting ThrashedBy Brian Lohnes Posted 02/22/10
We'll admit right off the bat that we have beaten down a U-Haul truck or two in our day. We got a V10 powered model high sided on a pile of tires one time. It's kind of a long story, but let's just say that the rev limiter on that truck got used really well. The videos in this Bonanza take it to another level. This is pure rental truck violence. BangShift.com does not endorse or encourage this behavior, but since these hoons did it, we may as well enjoy it.
Here's a 17 foot Ford powered box truck getting neutral dropped into a good burnout.
The sound track sucks, but check out the air these guys get bouncing the trucks!
A Ford catching air!
Listen as this loon throws the truck into park at apparent highway speed
A GM powered 10-footer frying a tire.
Sweet Jump!

A 15' Budget truck is a great way to transport a 4 door Sidekick and a '63 GMC on a dolly cross country. Not that I would put one car in the truck and 'overload' a dolly at the same time and drive 2300 miles above the 55mph speed limit emblazened on the dolly fenders. That wouldn't be right. Neither would going over a 9060 foot pass with that combo.

UMass motorsports never loaded our VW rabbit into the back of a U-Haul truck....we never did it....not even two or three times.

Baja 500 - I wonder if renting a U-haul is cheaper than funding a racing team ;D
I wonder if any one jumping one of these things ever had the airbags pop.

This is why I rent Penske

Ever loaded a fork truck that was about 3,000lbs too heavy for the truck into the back of a Penske box truck and driven like 50 miles? Yeah....ummm....I haven't either. ;) ;D

looks like great fun but it is no wonder when you rent one of these things they ride, drive, and handle like a 1974 dump truck. Word of advice. ALWAYS get the insurance

And if one of those yahoos got hurt, I suppose it would have led to them suing U-Haul? I must be getting old. ::)
