Michelin is a French company, which begins to explain the totally bizarre photo that was brought to light by Jesse over on the “Just a Car Guy” blog. Obviously this was intended to be some type of promotional shot, but we’re laughing too hard at it to figure out what the hell it is promoting. We want to get one of those suits for Chad when we have to share a hotel room with him. At least then he could stew in his own juice.
Imagine the meeting that spawned this. We’re picturing a room full of 10 guys, all named Pierre. There’s wine flowing like water, and since we’re in France, everyone is smoking like a chimney. After the 20th case of wine, people start blurting out ideas.
“We put him in zee soot!”
“Oui! Oui!”
“Then we make zee motorbike with a huge rear tire!”
“Oui! Oui!”
“The we take zee picture by a pond and some trees!”
