You may know the name Jason Lewis. He worked for the guys at Hot Rod for a time, doing their video stuff. He’s also the guy behind the bad ass big rig gymkhana video that stormed around the web a while back. Jason is a hardcore gear head with several cars and projects of his own. Our favorite is his Maverick, which he’s built from the ground up and managed to shoehorn in a Viper V10 into the front of.
The build is on-going but the car is going to be one bad Jose when it is complete. Jason built his own four link out back and used a Chris Alston Chassisworks front clip. The car sits perfectly, wears some big but not stupid big rolling stock, and looks all the world like it will carve corners and sprint like its hair is on fire once the car is done.
