We’ve been telling you how awesome the monthly Somernites Cruise in Somerset, Kentucky is and here are the photos to prove it! The first event in late April was a smashing success with nearly 1,000 show and shine cars, tons of cars hitting the strip, people traveling from all over the USA to attend, and minto weather. The May running of the event is coming this weekend and if you are anywhere near the Somerset, Kentucky area you need to get your gasoline lovin’ ass there!
This month, NAPA has donated a tool cart as the price giveaway and Mopar is the featured make, so if you are rolling in a Mopar, you will get the VIP treatment no matter if it is a slant six Valiant or a romping, stomping, Hemi ‘Cuda. As is always the case, the event has lots of cool stuff for everyone. If you are a park and polish guy, you’ll be hanging out in one of the coolest old school city centers you can think of and if you like hammering the gears, drag racing at a retro-awesome strip is also part of the plan.
