The ADRL is one of the most popular drag racing series in America because it is totally unpredictable. Not only is it impossible to pick a winner from race to race and class to class, it is also impossible to watch a pair of cars rocket down the track with out wondering if both will make it to the end of the lap in one piece. Short wheelbase fully suspended cars, making thousands of horsepower, and running hard in the heat of battle are difficult to control as this video shows so well.
The guys at the ADRL who made this one did a bitchin’ job of channeling the feel of the old Diamond P videos with the musical sound track and the way the footage is edited. We wish like hell that Steve Evans could be narrating the crash-fest as he did so well in the famous …and they walked away series.
