We’ve showed you plenty of video from circle tracks across the country, especially those that run so-called “spectator drags”. The premise is pretty simple. Two cars are lined up side by side and they run around the track. Presumably, these are street cars that people have driven to the track. Lots of times adrenaline and lack of talent combine to make video magic with people stuffing their cars into the wall when going super hot into corners, running out of brakes, or crashing into their unsuspecting competitor.

In this video, lack of talent isn’t the problem. Lack of sanity is. The driver of the 3rd generation F-body (complete with Firebird nose and Camaro tail) is lined up next to a Fox-body Mustang. Things get weird from the start as the driver of the Camaro lines up inches away from the Mustang on the inside of the starting line. As soon as the flag drops, the driver of the Camaro kicks ‘er down into low and gives the Camaro full right rudder, pushing the nose into the front fender of the Mustang. When the driver of the Mustang turns into the Camaro the Chevy driver lays into the throttle, smoking the tires and making a hasty escape to run around the track. The Mustang driver forfeits and drives back to the pits eventually, probably to load his pistol in wait for the driver of the Camaro.

We’d kick this guy’s ass.
