Yeah, we’re late with this week’s Parting Shift, but that is OK. The video of this expertly driven, slickly shifted Mustang is worth it. Normally I like to hunt down huge wheelies, or insane RPM screaming small blocks, but this time I am saving the drama for your mamma. The dude driving this Mustang hits his shifts with surgical precision, there ain’t much in the way of sideways action, but the front wheels do come up. Also take note that hie left leg dumps the clutch and then jabs it back in at the stripe. As he is ripping the shift lever, that leg may as well be made of wood and filled with rum because it ain’t doing nuthin’.
Tach it up, dump the clutch, and shift it like a boss. That’s this guy’s motto. Oh, and this thing defines “short throws”!
