We were tipped off to this artistic and frankly bitchin’ video of the 2011 Goodguys Scottsdale show. The video is set to some cool and non-intrusive music, has no voice over, and captures the essence and flavor of the show perfectly. To us, this is the type of video that tells the whole story with literally no words being spoken. To see all the families and kids hanging out, the people talking about their hot rods or whatever junk they rolled in with, the cars lapping the show grounds and all the other associated activities.
While lots of hard core car guys guffaw at the idea of static car shows, every one of us had our passion for cars, hot rods, trucks, etc fueled by attending these types of events when we were younger. The Goodguys shows have a lot of different activities to participate in like their autocross that allow you to get out there and beat on your stuff, but the cool factor of a huge gathering of cars from all corners of the hobby isn’t lost on us.
This video is a nice piece of film making in our opinion. If you are stuck somewhere that has a climate making it seem like summer will never come again, turn up your speakers and soak in the rays and warmth from this video. We’ve got show/cruise withdrawals happening here at East Coast BangShift world HQ!
