Any of you regular BangShifters know that Brian and I have a not so hidden desire to each own a Trar. Trars are Trucks that have Car bodies for those of you not in the know. We have shown plenty of them here on BangShift.com, and for the most part think everything from late-model El Caminos to early Corvettes are fair game for a full-size truck chassis swap. So when Rich Hintze sent us the link to this one titled “When creativity becomes sacrilege” we just couldn’t resist.
BUT… this crazy crew cab ’55 Chevy car body on top of some who knows what truck chassis is not working for us. It needs work, and it looks to have been put together a long time ago, but the most redeeming quality we can find so far is some of the good patina on it. Could we fix it and make it cool? Probably.
