Stock and Super Stock cars are known for pulling great wheelstands, but this is beyond the pale! The driver of this humongo Plymouth, which we think is a C/SA (C stock automatic) machine launches of the starting line at Dakota’s Thunder Valley Dragways and puts on one hell of a show. If the car is a C/SA runner that would make it 440 6-bbl equipped. Judging by the immediacy and length of this wheelstand, that’s big block torque working hard!
We’re thinking the front end comes smashing down somewhere around 200ft into the run, and you can literally hear steel meet the track. The driver isn’t phased and legs the car right out the back door. Must do this on every lap! Hell, if it does, he must have his header guy on call because there has to be a couple of flatted tubes after this wheel hanger!
