Yes, it is late to be posting stuff on a Friday, but frankly when we first saw this video we knew it would be something that BangShifters would want to see and we aim to please. We feel pretty bad for this chap in his newish looking Corvette Z06. He’s at the drag strip, traction control off, helmet on, and all amped up to do a burnout.
After whacking the throttle in the water (doing that with street tires is a sure sign of a guy that hasn’t done this much before) the driver pulls ahead and gets ready to turn his big dollar rear tires into smoke and grease in the burnout area. He hammers the car, it starts to spin the tires and then…well, you need to watch the video to see what happens next.
We’ll just say that the only things we have ever seen crash on a burnout are fuel altereds and pro mods…and those were rolling at pretty high speed. This guy, not so much.
