I wonder how many people have actually riden a 500cc??? Kinda like riding a bull, definitly not a beginers bike that's for sure. :o

CR500 is only about 10lbs heavier than a CR250 in '90. My riding buddy just finally sold his CR500. I rode it probably half a dozen times. I myself rode KX500s and an XR650R (for Baja and woods). These bikes aren't for novices, but they're incredible dirt and woods bikes. The CR500 is a real keeper. If you really want, put a heavier flywheel on it to boost low end torque but I never found it necessary at all.
