Shawn, did you dig Rich Guys?

Udo Horn is one of Turk's friends! I met him at Maxton and he's cooler than shit.

Oh yeah, the dude who wrote the book owns the Bandit car now! Should have mentioned that before.

Udo is an interesting character. He was a successful road racer, has made his mark in LSR, raced Alcohol Funny Cars in the 1970's and 80's....a true speed freak.

Yeah I read up on Sam Moses and ware the car is now, Udo Sounds like the real deal I respect people who can do different forms of racing. The other thing the book made me want is a CBX 1000 never knew of a inline 6 bike before.

Looks like The Art of Racing in the Rain will be a Movie

Starting reading Friday, I'm now on page 218 and have only stopped because the lady and I are going to watch some truck pulls at the local fairgrounds. Awesome book.

Re: The Art of Racing in the Rain

Just finished the book today. Good read for sure. I've always loved to read and get all wrapped up in a story but I can never seem to pick them out for myself, so I thank you all for the recommendation. A move based on this book would be awesome. I find the book maybe unintentionally does a good job of explaining the "it" we all seem to get yet can't explain to anyone else.

Just finished the book after lunch today.
GREAT READ - couldn't put it down!
I told my Dad to read it next.

Care if I join in with the book-signing thing?
                            Someone clue me in.

                              Hell yeah Stude.

Basically I signed my copy and sent it off on it's way. The book is making the rounds now...see the list above. You could do a turn and burn signing.

I think we need to start a new book on it's way.

Whaddya think guys? I say you'll all dig "Rich Guys, Fast Guys, and Idiots" by Sam Moses.
