Which brings me to a question, I have an old bottle that appears on the outside to be in perfect shape, but it's out of date. At first I was just thinking about playing stupid, and see if I could get it filled without anyone noticing but this got me thinking. I also remember that guy in Georgia earlier this year, and a few other horror story's I've heard and am staring to think rationally again. So what do I do now? I have a few welding supply places around here, and there is a place in town that we get our Co2 bottles filled, could one of those places check it out and put a new date on it, or is there a better place?
My local welding supply does the tests for me, Hydrostatic test, once it passes they'll restamp it.
