Re: Ford F-Series body panels
Walt, the doors and fenders are available new/aftermarket fairly reasonably priced, a lot of ebay stores carry them. The hard part is going to be the bed. What are the chances of just residing what you have?Whiskey for my men ... and beer for their horses! -
Re: Ford F-Series body panels
but the cab corners and rockers/floors are ok???
I'd look that over before you spend the coin on the other parts. as bam said the fenders are cheap, door sheels are not but bottom patches are..
how bad is this bed..
they go around the wheel and behind it up here..easy fixes with the aval. patches..
finding a striaght bed on a 88-97 f150 and up to 98 on 250-350's will be hard as they'll be connected to trucks that where cared for.. and "IF" they hit a yard. it's gone before it gets passed the gate..
pic's would help..
the fenders are 119. new.. ford might be more.. but a friendly parts counter guy might get you a ford part for not much more..
door skins on those are a p.i.t.a.
I'd patch it and the bed and new fenders.. gotta learn to weld some time..
but I'd look real hard at the floors/rockers/cab corner and the front of the hood..
weight in your options..
sounds like it be cheaper to go get a dry climate truckComment
