Re: Greg Weld wheels
He was having some legal issues with American racing last I heard. They dont want him to be able to use the Weld name. I have seen some pics on line they are a good looking wheel but made in China and they are a uni-lug wheel. I had a bad experience with uni-lugs way back.

Re: Greg Weld wheels
I was looking at them in Summit's online catalog, wondering why a good looking wheel like that was so much less expensive than the others...
Are they unilug like this:
or are they unilug like this:
If they have the elongated slots, I don't know if I could use them with my 5/8" studs. I can open up a hole easy enough, but a slot?

Re: Greg Weld wheels
The way I understand it they are the long holes and you use the washers to make the bolt pattern. I had some old slotted ET wheels with that set up way back and you had to check the lugs all the time since the washers were the only thing making contact with the wheel they would work there way loose. Good looking wheel but dont want to worry about working loose while my car is launching.
Besides being made in China they are probably heavy due to all the extra lead they add to everything. LOL
