When you actually use them, things wear out, or you just find things you want to improve, or just change up. This winter, it's a clutch replacement, which I'm not real happy about! Was a new clutch with only one summer and less than 5000 miles when I swapped in the TKO600, but has started slipping real badly in 3-4-5 gears. Makesdriving not much fun! There's always something, but I'd rather drive my chevelle than most anything else on the road today!
Thanks Gregg and I know what you mean about driving them I love driving my old cars better than my newer truck and like Bruce said half the fun is working on them.

Got the other two holes in the shock towers filled in tonight I hope the cat that put them in had as much fun putting them in as I had getting them out. The back two where a pain in the A$$.

          Dude...you need a 347 stroker with under-manifold nitrous, dressed to look like a stock 302. :D

Bruce I do have a donor car. The drivers side looks to be Ok,but the pasenger side looks to have rust, but hard to tell. This car did'nt look rusty until I pulled the windshield out. I may just move onto the three small places in the floor pans and come back to this after I pull the other car apart.

That windshield area is nothing to be concerned about, easy fix. Is that a piece of Unistrut you are using for a drag link?

I don't really get to upset about much on this car I figure I've got a 50% chance of doing it right. An yes that is a piece of unistrut as a drag link, but it's just temperary the guys before me really stripped this thing I bought it mainly as a shell and did'nt get much more, but the under body is in much better shape than my other car.

Got the cowl torn apart tonight the top part is junk the bottom is repairable it's going to take a little welding and some fab work, but I can save it. I'm petty sure the top part on my other car is good, but won't know till I get it apart.

Found a little present from a former tenent.

                        Passenger side not to bad.

All in all I have seen worse on these cars.
