    91CCFirebird's 1991 Firebird Formula "painted"

Here are some current pics of the car 5/2008. It is the car I bought from DF. Since it has been in Indiana it has been washed and the radio now works. The nitrous bottle has also been emptied. The plan is to drive it this summer and we will see what winter brings as far as modifications. It drips oil at a pretty good pace and my wife is mad about the spots on the driveway so I am going to be working on that. The rearend howls like some kind of monkey so that to is on the list. The passenger window doesn't go down so as the temperature goes up I am sure the urgency to fix that will also rise.

Cool score on a "famous" magazine car!

OK, I now count (4) Indiana members with F-bodies...(3) with 3rd-gen cars, with the numbers going toward the Pontiac variant(yourself with the CC 'Bird, HoosierGTA with (2) feathered friends.......IndyShiftMan and myself with Camaros(although his is WAAAAAAAAAAY better than mine).

It didn't drop oil at OUR shop. Hmm. What's leaking and from where? If anything, I'd guess a valve cover. I had changed one when someone pinched through the rubber gaskets. Perhaps it just needs a cinch.

Once again, that rearend howls like an air raid siren. I'll never buy cheapie gears again.

It is blowing out the filler cap for one, and runs down the valve cover. I think it is the valve cover gasket on the other side. The plumbing on the pcv valve isn't connected to anything so I hope that is causing the blow by. I took it to a local guy that specialises in C4 corvettes and he is going to look at the plumbing, work on the idle issue and the SES light I get on the highway.
