I received an email and am now registered for Drag Week! I had just mentally committed to going (attempt a walk-in registration or just spectate) when the email came. I suspect many more will get in or be able to walk on, but that is just a guess...

I just hope I don't instinctivley stab that big wide brake pedal with my left foot when it's time to shift! Gotta get used to operating an oily, slippery, stinky, fluid coupling again. It's going to be a blast shifting that big FE at 8000 RPM, even if it is a slushbox.

I feel you my Malibu is the first automatic I have had, I still have issues even having not driven a 4 speed for a long while too. I am a lot more comfortable with a clutch than the trans brake
