I parked it in front of my friend's auto parts store in town. In a couple hours, I got a call - he offered me the rock bottom price I had in mind, I asked him if he could throw in a couple hundred more...
I also called a previous owner of it. Father and son worked on it; doing the V8 swap and other stuff. I gave him the rock bottom price, since his father has since passed away and I know he'd like it back for sentimental reasons. I haven't heard back from him. I don't think his wife wants a second project sitting around their limited space.

Yesterday, I met the first guy to call me and we took it for a drive. He agreed to pay the rock bottom price, and will buy my other set of 8" truck rally wheels for $200 (the wheels now on it are the 6.5" van rally wheels)... I am supposed to do the deal in about an hour. He's not worried about the paint and rust, only the smoking engine. *shrug* He intends to flip it.

        Sold!

I told him I could throw in the newish tires I have (the 255/70/15 Indy 500's) for another 200 ... he waffled on it, and I changed my mind. I'll keep them on my 84 C10 until they wear out. I would have had to spend another $500 + to buy new tires, and it just didn't make sense to me after further thought.
