We are mainly doing this because we can. Not many people want to rat out a 61 bubble top. The Impala purists are going to hate us..... 61 Bubble ratted out in rusty patina, sitting on 18's/20's and flying down the freeway on the PT. This car is bound to be a chick magnet!

Here are some interior/floor pan pictures to show the condition of the pans. Not much work to be done on the floor or truck pans. They are actually in pretty good shape considering how long the car has been sitting outside.

I have a 454 sitting in the floor I thought about for the impala but cost to build kept it sitting in the corner.Don't think the old man would be to happy if I used his motor and sold the car.LOL

I can't believe how clean the floors and trunk are on this car - great that you're saving it, I would have expected a flinstone special, the area you pulled it from must have had good drainage?

    These are great looking cars.

lol, I told my dad (when I was asking about something he was building... slowly...) that he might as well give it to me now, since I'll inherit it all anyway He retorted with something about the prodigal son

I was very surprised by the floors when I found the car.It sat with no wheels on it for all those years and the factory floors are still there needing only minor patching.
