The Elvis Presley Birthplace and Museum is in Tupelo, also. It is about a mile from the auto museum and on the way back to US 78.

Cagnazzi Racing will have the showroom open on Friday but they don't have the ability to open up the shop for all to see. Racing secrets are always protected and I don't blame them as they are running so well. They are a great group of guys with a first class operation. They have a small showroom in the front with a viewing window showing some assembly area. I have been in the shop, but as a general rule most Pro Stock teams do not let any one in. KB racing is about 5 miles away as well, but I am not sure you would have any better succes at looking around there place.

For any one that wants to tour race shops, directly across the street from Roush is the NC Auto Racing Hall of Fame. It is a great place to see some racing history. They have a map inside that has the shop locations listed. They are usually open on Saturday during the Roush Yates show. Don Miller (Penske Racing president, retired) is almost always around as well. He wrote a great book about his life in racing, that should be for sale in the museum.

DC Classics will also have a car show on Friday and Saturday, they are 2 buildings down from Roush Yates. Parking will be crowded in that area in general, find a place and walk around would be the best bet.

Most race teams do have veiwing areas open during the week (M-F). If PT starts here next year, I will put somethng together for a group that wants to tour some places and also check out some of our hot rod shops in the area, but it will have to be a week day.

We drove up there last time but the incline had just closed so didn't go on that. Is a really nice drive up around the mountain though and some great views.

Maybe a little, must have been Mike's fault Was a very cool drive up the mountain though. We went up in the evening and wasn't much traffic up there at all.
