What year is this particular example?

    1986?

If my old '85 Sierra Classic had been one of these, I might have kept it....always wondered what one of these would look like as an extended cab.

Ford and Dodge had their own extended-cab offerings back in the day, never understood why GM didn't follow suit...this could've bee a big seller(it sure has been since '88)

The side windows look odd, but cool nonetheless.....if it was a 4x4, I'd be on it like a bum on a sandwich.

Years ago when I built my 59 extended cab, a guy in town who is into cars and also has a car lot showed up with one of those conversions, it had been built in Texas. Neat truck, but the guy didn't have it long (probably found a good paying buyer).

Those things are cool....never seen one in person tho. I am a huge fan of the chevy crew cab trucks. The ex-cab would definitely be one to grab.
