Even More 2010 Grand National Roadster Show (Click a Thumbnail to Enlarge Photos)
-
This gallery is from the 2010 Grand National Roadster show and includes several of the America's Most Beautiful Roadster competitors, including Jerry Magnuson's bitchin '32.
-
Jerry Magnuson built most of this car himself, and called Chip Foose in towards the end to help with details, etc. We think Jerry did a fantastic job.

Troy Ladd of Hollywood Hot Rods brought out this sick Caddy powered '32 Ford. It's all aircraft inspired and you can't stop finding cool things on it.
-
Speaking of gauges, the interior is full of them. And switches. All of it looks like it came from a plane, including the shifter which is ultra cool.
-
That's a pitot tube mounted up front. We're not sure if it's really hooked up to air speed, but the gauge is their.
-
Speaking of cool. Look at these wheels. Can you imagine doing all the safety wiring on this thing? Uuugggghhhhhhhhhh. Troy's guys either love him or get paid well.
-
Note the clear tail lights which are plane clearance lights, and also the fact that the paint color is so perfect it almost looks like clear coated aluminum.
-
The "Cover Cars that made a difference" collection in building 3 was great. Loads of your favorites were on hand.

We've always loved Currie's '32 Ford Roadster. It's evil but true to form all at the same time.

Limefire was one of our favorites back in the day. It's still just as cool looking now as then.

Yes that's a Flatty with Ardun heads. With the sleeper looks, this car would probably surprise quite a few people at the stoplight drags.

He's striping the dash, right there at the show. We approve.

The 5 window is ultra cool, and we dig the skinnys with Firestones.

Something about this '32 Ford pickup does it for us. The look is great, we dig the painted grill, and although the small-block Chevy is a violation to some, we think the details make it nice. We'd drive it.

Studebaker V8 power backed by a T5 make this '32 a fun ride I'm sure. The Grin-o-Meter has to be pegged most of the time.

This '32 Ford 5 window is great. Black paint, wide whites, orange/copper wheels, and white interior. Sign us up. Where do we send the check? We love it.

This Oldsmobile says G-man all over it. If this thing drove into your driveway in 1954 you would have thought someone was coming to get you for an interrogation.

Remember when it was hard to find steel bodies? No more. They were stacked like cord wood outside in the vendors area. And, they were selling because the forklift was working hard loading them while we watched.
