As the start of Power Tour approaches, we know that all you Forum Freaks will be out in force at Hot Rod’s annual pilgrimage of horsepower, but what about the rest of you? Are you going to do any road trips with the family? The Reynolds family is going to be going on a short road trip in the coming weeks, and will be enjoying some coastal California weather while camping in an RV trailer. It should be a riot, and give us time to cook on a fire, play in the water, and stop at every available photo opp. We don’t have any hot rod specific trips planned yet, but the summer is early so we’ll just have to see.
But this is about you. So what plans do you have for roadtrips this year? Are they hot rod related? Family related? Or both?

Going out to Arlington TX to see my new granddaughter the first week of June.
After the snow melts off I’m going to ride my Suzuki quadsport from my house near Lewiston ID to Mcall ID 99% pavement free. Until a few weeks ago I didn’t know it was possible to make the trip without getting on a highway. In ID its legal to ride four wheelers on county roads as long as you make it ‘street’ legal. Horn mirror, plates insurance ect. Not really hot rod related but it should be a blast.
Planning a trip to Chama, NM in August. Wife and I are driving the ’42 Ford Panel Truck we’re taking on the Power Tour.
Leaving from NW Ohio in a 1960 Edsel we just did a bourbon trail run and the Beatersvile show in Kentucky last weekend. That was a blast. In August we are heading out to Utah to watch the salf flat runs.
Going to Indy to watch our son wrench on Johnny Grays flopper at the US Nationals. Cant wait!
