Like Steve Earle’s “Copperhead Road”, “The Ballad of Thunder Road” is about running moonshine and is the theme song from the 1958 movie titled “Thunder Road”. The great part about this old song is the rythm and lyrics and the way it tells the story. It’s also extra cool because the video we have playing with it is the cool car chases and stunts from the movie. And the cars he is driving are some cool old Fords with James Bond like modifications, including the oil slick! We dig that. Watch this one, you’ll enjoy it.
