Can You Hear Me Now? Aussie Lamborghini Owner Goes After The Police After Getting A Noise-Violation Ticket And Wins!

Can You Hear Me Now? Aussie Lamborghini Owner Goes After The Police After Getting A Noise-Violation Ticket And Wins!

“I fought the law, and the law won.” That’s the lyric, right? That no matter what you do, in the end the law is the final word and any attempt to bypass that is going to be a futile attempt? Right…tell that to Mark Trueno, the owner of this lime-green Lamborghini Huracan, who recently took enough issue with the AUD $376 fine he received for “making unnecessary noise” while leaving a hotel in Brisbane that he took the police to court to contest the ticket. And not in the kind of manner that ends up with one person standing before the judge pleading his case, either: Trueno brought his lawyer, witnesses, and even a representative from Lamborghini to testify on his behalf. His legal fees will be over five times what the noise violation fine was, but honestly, we admire his determination in the face of the kinds of preconceptions that Australian officials have at gearheads. Besides…when has a running Lamborghini ever been quiet?

“Look at me! Everybody look at me! I have so much money I think I’ll change my name to Tony Stark!”

This guy proves that white trash isn’t necessarily poor.

Good for him, bad laws and over zealous enforcement need pushback. He may have done it to prove a point but he has helped others along the way. Let’s hope he gets into politics and keeps pushing, I imagine he has the cash to do that too.
