Anybody Want A Kit-Car Lamborghini Murciélago Based Off Of A 1995 Chevy Camaro?

Anybody Want A Kit-Car Lamborghini Murciélago Based Off Of A 1995 Chevy Camaro?

Unless you have a high-quality do-it-yourself vehicle like a Factory Five, attaching the phrase “kit car” suddenly adds a dirty reputation to your vehicle. It doesn’t matter how much work you’ve done to the car, images of Pontiac Fieros with plastic Ferrari-esque panels and Stiletto Camaros come to mind in a heartbeat. Plasticky, fake, and cheesy, they were atrocities, the automotive equivalent of identity theft. It may have said it was Ferrari, but it didn’t run like a Ferrari, it didn’t sound like a Ferrari, and nobody was fooled.

This rip on a Lamborghini Murciélago is based on a 1995 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 automatic. Hm. On the outside, credit to whoever put the body together: it isn’t as bad as a lot of re-skin jobs. It’s no Murciélago, but it’s a lot closer than some vehicles. And the interior…well, the dashboard, anyways…isn’t far off from the Lambo, either. Somebody was putting some serious effort in converting the F-body into the Italian dream machine.

Ok, who are we kidding here? Effort or not, this guy took a 275hp automatic Camaro and is trying to pass it off as an all-wheel-drive Lambo that made, at minimum, 572hp. Certain things are missing, like the Lambo’s exhaust note, interior finish, and about oh, let’s say roughly $150,000 in value, which would put you within striking distance of a real Lamborghini. The greatest part is the eBay listing: with such phrases as “I do trade with hi-end car” and “the reason I am selling it because my “wife” she to jealous”, you know that it’s a quality product, right? At least the “a/c and hater” works.

I just can’t get over that gauges surround. It looks like the mouth of a Muppet character.

It maybe a 2010 Lambo but that interior is pimping 70’s! All that’s missing is the angel fur!

I just read the description and now my brain hurts. Damn you McTaggart! My eye is twitching like crazy and my head feels like it’s going to split open! How in the hell can a grown adult not know how to spell???

I guess this is the same person that thinks he’s going to get 28 grand for this, but STILL!!!

      Good lord, Tedly, you’re right!
It’s like a Russian mobster was imitating Scooby Doo while writing that description!
      The best part:
      “A/C and hater work”.
Don’t worry, with that interior, I’m sure the car has many haters.

About the ONLY thing worse than a 95 Camaro ..

… is a 95 Camaro posing as a Lamborghini … in an ill fitting and poorly constructed Lamborghini party dress

    The only questions here being ;

    1) What kind of lowlife spends good money buying something like this ..

    … and even worse ..

    2) What kind of lowlife company manufactures the parts to make a travesty such as this available ?

Eeesh … Stranahan’s … quick … before my brain goes into overload

It’s pretty well executed compared to most kits, and I have to admit it looks somewhat better than a stock 1995 Camaro (at least on the outside, and it probably isn’t much worse than the stock interior). But the price is pretty delusional. I’d rather spend that much money on going faster.
