A two-door post Plymouth Vailant isn’t normally something to get feverish over. The Mopar A-body had some better shapes (1968 Barracuda and the Duster/Demon twins come to mind), but underneath the yawn-inspiring shape is the exact same platform that was one of Ma Mopar’s best. It was light, durable, and if nothing else, simple. Even today, with most cars from the 1960s and early 1970s rising in value, the Valiants can still be gained for minimum cost. But what do you do with one? In the case of Shannon Hudson’s Valiant, the result is a corner-carving shoebox built along the same vein as the well-known Green Brick. A Paxton Novi-equipped 360 is the source of the soundtrack and testing the car is Mr. Angry himself, Mike Musto.

So while the weather outside remains gray and nasty, get a hot beverage of choice and check out the Plymouth doing the very last thing anyone designed it to do.
