Check Out The Trailer For Forza Horizon 2: All In-Game Footage And It Looks Spectacular

Winter is coming, and it’s supposed to be a nasty one this year. Rain, snow, ice and cold temperatures do not make for happy BangShifters (excepting our Nordic friends, who don’t seem to care one way or another.) So if your house is surrounded by mounds of the fluffy white stuff from the sky and it’s cold enough out that the dog is fighting with the cat for litterbox privileges, maybe staying indoors is a good thing to do. Movies are cool, and of course the Internet is a great timekiller, but what about video games?

I’m a game junkie for only two specific titles: Grand Theft Auto and Forza. And with the Xbox One and Playstation 4 out and for sale, it’s time to take a look at the newest racing game coming out, Forza Horizon 2. Unlike prior Forza games where you get a series of tracks, Forza Horizon works like a sandbox-style game, where they pick a location and leave the environment open-ended, like the GTA games. For Horizon 2, the southern European coastal area is the location, and the views are spectacular.

Over 200 cars are on the list and the variety is outstanding, from hypercars to off-roaders, rally cars to American muscle cars. Of note, the Local Motors Rally Fighter, the Willys MB, the Ford Escort MKII  and the Pontiac Trans Am 455SD all make the list. If you have an account with past Forza games on it, they will reward you with bonus features. And online play is seamless. Not a bad way to kill a frigidly cold afternoon. Check out the trailer below and see for yourself!

I’m not sure if I’ll take the chance on this one. Forza 3 was fine for its time but then Forza 4 just majorly disappointed me. Felt like nothing changed but the name. Then I played Forza Horizon and got bored after a couple hours. I hate how they keep wanting you to spend more real life money on the game after you’ve bought it. It was hard to enjoy any of the cars you bought; the game keeps reminding you that you don’t have that faster Italian supercar so whatever you have is inferior and can’t win races. The graphics are good but the physics have never felt all that remarkable and the cars all feel the same to me. Horizon 2 seems like it will fix some of the issues I had with Horizon 1, but I don’t think it is worth buying a new $300+ console and a $60+ game just to experience.

Yeah, same here Sumgai. FM3 was good, I greatly enjoyed FM4 and was excited for Horizons. Then 2 hours in, I realized all the controls were dull, traction seemed non-existent over 20mph and all the cars felt them same. I’ve heard that FM5 is pretty half-baked too, with a low amount of content and the elimination of the signature race calendar

This is the perfect blog for everyone who wishes to find out about this topic.
You know a whole lot its almost hard to argue with you (not that I personally will
need to…HaHa). You definitely put a fresh spin on a subject that has been written about for many years.
    Wonderful stuff, just great!
