Cherry Bomb’s Disturbing the Peace Camaro Gets Huge Love in Popular Hot Rodding

Cherry Bomb’s Disturbing the Peace Camaro Gets Huge Love in Popular Hot Rodding

Late in the 2010 SEMA show we ran into Cherry Bomb’s Matt Graves at their display. By that time in the week most people are usually pretty worn down from meetings, pitches, dinners, a few too many drinks, and the sheer insanity of Las Vegas, but Matt was all amped up. He excitedly told us that PHR was set to do a big spread on their newly unveiled “Disturbing the Peace” Camaro. Well the story is out and we have to say that PHR’s Johnny Hunkins did a great job telling the tale and thrashing the tires on the “Disturbing the Peace” Camaro.

The car, in our eyes anyway, is really bad ass. When Matt first told us about the project at SEMA 2009, we were a bit nervous because there were severl design elements that seemed to run counter to one another. Our fears were totally for naught as the car kicks ass on multiple levels from the killer paint all the way to the crazy nasty blown 427ci LSx engine that Mast Motorsports built. The suspension is chocked full of kick ass parts from Detroit Speed front and rear, which Hunkins really seems to like from his impressios in the feature.

The Cherry Bomb boys will have this baby out on the 2011 Hot Rod Power Tour, so check it out for yourself, on the road. It’ll be easy to find. Just follow the two black stripes on the pavement that’ll lead right up to the car!
