Coming This Weekend: The Bangshift.com East Feast: Come on Down (or up)

It’s coming this weekend! The first annual BangShift.com East Feast is a get together for readers, forum members, friends, and hell, maybe even a couple haters, at beautiful and historic Beaver Springs Dragway in Beaver Springs, Pennsylvania. There will be food, fun, race cars, and more bench racing then one could possibly handle in a day’s time!

Several BangShift members are either towing or driving their junk to the track, including a special pair who will be putting on a match race. Mike Casella and his massive 7-second 1960 Chevy Bel Air will take on Jon Wall in his killer nostalgia Monza Funny Car that sports an injected big-block Chevy. Wall also runs low 8s and high 7s. It’s plastic versus steel, be there!

The party unofficially kicks off on Friday night as many attendees are arriving a day early to scope out the area, hang out, and umm, quench their thirst that evening. Right now it appears that the Country Hearth Inn located in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania is party central for Friday and Saturday night.

Members are coming from as far off as Michigan to hang out, burn rubber, and chew the fat. If you’re a reader, come on down and say hey! This is a low key deal as we’re basically crashing a test and tune day at Beaver Springs and the main point is to have fun and enjoy a fall weekend that will have killer air for making horsepower at the drags.

Here are a couple of forum links that lead you through the event planning.
