We got tipped off to this Craigslist ad by BangShift reader Mike who lives in the Pittsburgh area. We can only imagine what the hell happened to this car to have it end up as the complete pile of destruction you see before you. There’s not a shot in hell that anyone lived through this wreck, or when this thing was eaten by a Transformer, or used as a football as the Incredible Hulk or whatever horrendous fate it met.
The seller is a man of few words and clearly someone with a sense of humor. The entirety of the ad is as follows:

The asking price for the hulk of the car which may have two good wheels, a couple of brake rotors, and an air conditioning vent for use on your next project is $5,000. We don’t think that the guy is serious. Ok, we hope that the guy isn’t serious. We’ve posted all of the photos from the ad below because it’ll probably be pulled off of Craigslist by the time you see this.

One radiator hose $2.00, Two mag wheels $100, one exhaust manifold $20.00… Cha ching!!!!

the rear end is worth the $500 smakers for sure’ plus you have the wheels too and the tranny I bet is still good all for $500…….hmmmmm might be worth a look.???

If I’m thinking of the right one, maybe. It was the same color C5 at any rate. The location and time of the crash that I found was on Route 287 in NJ about a year and half ago.
I remember seeing a wreck where a little red car drove under a semi infront of the rear axles and ended up being drug down the highway between the rear most axle and trailer jack. It looked worse, a tire and some red sheet metal let you know it was a car, the vette by comparison will buff out.
This ad was posted as an harassment ad against me by my idiot neighbor. He’s been posting ads all over the US with my phone #s.. He’s going to get a rude awakening by the police for posting custodial information.. It’s against the law.
