EBAY FIND: THE MASSIVE JUNKYARD/MUSCLE CAR COLLECTION OF BRUCE CLICHE IS BACK UP FOR SALE

EBAY FIND: THE MASSIVE JUNKYARD/MUSCLE CAR COLLECTION OF BRUCE CLICHE IS BACK UP FOR SALE

Bruce Cliche’s massive collection of muscle cars and parts is for sale again. The 4-acre spread which is located in Vermont is on the block for $1.6 million bucks. Since I have actually spent a day at the place and walked the grounds with Bruce a couple years ago, my opinion is that the price is 100% right for a buyer. If you can’t double, triple, or quintuple your investment on that property, you are either an idiot or the worst business person in the history of business people.

Yes, lots of the cars are rotting into the Earth, but virtually every single one of them is complete from front to back. While there are some rare and valuable pieces to be sold whole, there are literally millions of good OEM parts that could be harvested from the place. The man has an entire school bus filled from stem to stern with Muncie 4-speeds. Seriously.

The photos you will see below, from the eBay ad, were taken in the basement of Bruce’s Revolutionary War era house, which is also packed with parts. The basement is all engine parts and whole motors. There are umpteen dozens of pairs of heads, intake manifolds that range from rare to complete unobtanium, shifters to beat the band (including a couple sets of Lightning Rods), and enough carbs to choke an elephant. There are piles of engines, a room with something like 1,000 driveshafts, and on and on.

Hell, at one point while walking the property we had no choice but to cover roughly 100 yards by walking across the roofs of cars!

There really are not words to describe this place.

The Lee Roy Hartung collection, which Bob Chiluk covered for Bangshift, was much smaller than this, it all sold for over $4 million. How much money would each Bangshifter have to put in the pot to buy this place?
